This global event highlights awareness, promotes inclusivity, and celebrates the accomplishments and abilities of individuals with Down Syndrome. The date, March 21st, symbolizes the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome, which defines Down Syndrome.
WDSD 2025: Improve Our Support Systems
This year, our theme is “Improve Our Support Systems”, focusing on enhancing resources and networks that empower individuals with Down Syndrome and their families. Together, we can strengthen the structures that help everyone thrive.
