World Down Syndrome Day

Together Against Loneliness – World Down Syndrome Day, March 21, 2026

Join the #RockYourSocksSudbury2026 challenge and help fill Greater Sudbury and Manitoulin Island with colorful, mismatched socks—and meaningful connections!

World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) is a global celebration that raises awareness, promotes inclusion, and highlights the abilities and accomplishments of people with Down syndrome. The date, March 21, reflects the three copies of the 21st chromosome unique to Down syndrome.

2026 Theme: Together Against Loneliness
